About MDMeals

MDMeals is more than just a meal delivery service – it’s a doctor-designed solution to help people manage chronic health conditions through the power of food.

Founded by Dr. Wael Eid and Dr. Prashant Gundre, two practicing physicians, MDMeals was created to solve a challenge they saw repeatedly in their work: patients with conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and kidney issues struggled to follow the dietary guidelines essential for maintaining or improving their health. Despite their best intentions, many patients found it overwhelming to manage the complex nutritional requirements their conditions demanded.

For many patients, maintaining a condition-specific diet is easier said than done. Meal planning is time-consuming, nutrition labels are confusing, and even when patients understand what they should eat, preparing meals that meet medical guidelines can feel like an impossible task. Drs. Eid and Gundre knew their patients weren’t lacking motivation, they were lacking practical, accessible solutions to make healthy eating easier.

Driven by a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes, the doctors set out to create a better way. Their vision was clear: provide ready-to-eat meals that are not only convenient and taste delicious but also carefully tailored to the unique dietary needs of people living with chronic conditions.

At MDMeals, we make it easy to follow your doctor’s advice, so better health is within reach.
